As part of my research, I looked at a future learn video on youtube by Frank Ash to develop my understanding on the top line and big question of the treatment. This is good because the sotry needs to be appealing to the audience if they are going to see the film. Therefore, if the film has a good treatment more people are likely going to be interested.
For example: "So, if you’re aiming for your film to reach a large audience online,
making sure it has universal appeal will be key." This would be achieved by having a grabbing top line and big question.
A top line is a general sum up of the films narative to one condensed sentence which has to be effective to show what the film will be about which can attract the audience in. The big question is the story changer which hooks the audience to the story to see how the film will end out at the end.
This is useful learning.
