I went onto the OCR Weebly website workshop which was very helpful when learning about making our story board and how to structure it properly. Steve
Thorne has presented how he created story boards for video production
with his A-Level students.
I will be using the same
approach to create my story boards. Using sticky-notes for the boards is flexible and means that scenes can be moved around easily.
We also tried using StoryboardThat, A website which allows you to make digital story boards using the storyboard template and preset, customizable characters, scenes, and speech boxes. However, we found it quite restricting because there were only a certian amount of backgrounds, chacters etc which could prove challenging if we want a really specific scene.
Therefore, we decided that we should stick to the sticky notes because they are much more adaptable and flexible along with being able to adapt it our film more easily.
You show awareness of what goes into the process of making a useful storyboard.
